Valentines Card Workshop
Join us for a relaxed and creative evening with Margaret Buckworth at Roberts Studios, as we explore the art of handmade card-making! While the workshop and materials are inspired by Valentine’s Day, participants are welcome to create any style of card they like.
This workshop is suitable for adults and seniors, and welcomes all skill levels, from beginners to advanced makers.
What we’ll be using:
Tissue paper
Scissors & glue sticks
Cards & envelopes
A variety of decorative papers
Heart stencils
Valentine-themed stamps
Heart puncher
All materials are provided.
Each participant will receive a card-making kit from Margaret that includes a card, envelope, and curated papers to create a collaged card. You’ll also have the option to choose additional papers and design your own unique collage, with guidance and support available if needed.
This is a two-hour workshop, offering plenty of time to experiment, create, and enjoy the process.
Participants of the workshop can get 10% off in-store purchases at Roberts Studios on the night of the event. Shop the store for craft papers, ink and stamps to bring your creation to life!

Intro to Abstract Collage
Join artist Margaret Buckworth at Roberts Studios for a creative exploration of abstract collage. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of collage—what it is, how composition and colour work together, and how to use different materials to create depth and expression. Margaret will share examples and guide you through building your own unique piece using a provided kit. All materials—paper and scissors will be provided. This two-hour workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to experiment with texture, layering, and abstract design in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Wreath Workshop with Gillyflower Farms
Festive wreath making with GillyFlower Farms at Roberts Studios!
Join us on November 20th from 6:30-8:30 pm for a festive evening of craft inspired by nature’s textures and tones. You’ll create your own wreath using locally sourced evergreens, dried flowers and beautiful ribbons, with materials and tools provided. Enjoy hot apple cider, light snacks, and good company as you make something truly your own.
